Eurydice dies in a car accident on the day of their wedding, Orpheus' search for his beloved is a dream that begins and ends in the cemetery. This production does not contain a happy ending, but a new way of characterizing it: Cupid, sung by a baritone, becomes the funeral orator and Orheus' guide through the underworld. The end of the story, however, is the look back that makes Orpheus lose his beloved forever. Roberto Alagna plays the role of Orpheus in the production of his brother David Algana with heart and soul.
