After an extensive box set, the American label Music & Arts now presents us with further recordings with conductor Guido Cantelli (1920-1956). This time it's previously unreleased concert recordings from 1953 and 1954, which were only broadcast in excerpts, but fortunately were recorded in their entirety by the Carnegie Hall Corporation. Cantelli is here at the podium of the New York Philharmonic and we experience two concert programs in which the incomparable Rudolf Serkin is heard with a Mozart concerto and two Beethoven concertos. In this way, a unique artistic collaboration is documented, which harmonized perfectly right from the start due to the same temperament.
