Yet his chamber music contains a number of masterpieces that deserve a more prominent place in our consciousness.
The Belgian chamber music formation Oxalys gives us the opportunity to discover the beauty of his chamber music. Besides two late works, the Serenade Op. 141a and the Clarinet Quintet Op. 146 from 1915, the "Plea for Reger" also contains the Serenade Op. 77a, composed in 1904.
