Back in 1977, a bunch of musician friends got together to rearrange jazz standards at the Théâtre du Splendid, presenting a theatrical music show rooted in their love of old-time jazz dance - a frenetic good-time blend of theatrical visuals and costumes and tight arrangements. They had instant success and have since performed on all the famous Parisian stages, and sold vast numbers of records. In 2016, le Grand Orchestre du Splendid turns 40! Still all together, not a single original member is missing, and ready to celebrate with their legions of faithful fans.
