Concerto Classics dedicates this CD to the symphonies of Andrea Luchesi (1741-1801), a fascinating and largely still mysterious composer. • Orchestra da Camera Ferrucio Busoni conductor Massimo Belli says of these seven unpublished works that they “are little gems” and “show a great variety of ideas and imagination”. • Of Luchesi himself, musicologist Bruno Belli says, “(he) was much more than craftsman...(he was) an artist, pointing the way towards Classicism”."
