The album "Mixed Company" contains the world premiere recording of the remarkable cycle of works by Pelle GudmundsenHolmgreen. The title already refers to the actors and the musical content: Two ensembles, the "London Sinfonietta" and the "Theatre of Voices" from two different countries, Denmark and England Together they sing and play music of a danish contemporaries, which he in turn composed around the "Lacirmae" of the Englishman John Dowland • The result is the "Lacrimae" in all probability in Denmark, where Dowland was in the service of Christian IV from 1598 to 1606.
