This album, dedicated to Carl Perkins, provides the missing link in the famous anthology Rock 'n' Roll Latitude. A singer, guitarist, songwriter and performer, Carl Perkins left his mark and imposed his style on a time which was not exactly short of idols. Without a silly accident which kept him out of action for several months just the wrong time, and without his producers ensuing financial worries, Carl Perkins would be as famous today as the King, and the latter (or others like him) wouldn't be credited with the major hits he generously donated to the world of rock. For it's true, "Blue Suede Shoes" was by Carl Perkins, "Honey Don't" was by Carl Perkins and "Pink Pedal Pushers" was by Carl Perkins too!
