When Mike Tomlin talks about "The Standard is The Standard," we can be sure that he is not talking about jazz, yet he touches on something essential to jazz music. The standard repertoire of jazz sets the standard. Inspired by this quote, harpist Stina Hellberg Agback, along with bassist Filip Augustsson and drummer Jon Fält, has recorded an album where jazz standards take center stage. Together, they create a new sound that lets the harp play the leading role.
