Pan flute and organ enter into a very special union here: Quite similar in tone production, the pan flute breathes life into the static sound of the organ stops and thus in a deeply human way. In a programme that is as varied as it is entertaining, Sebastian Pachel, together with Kreuzorganist Holger Gehring on the large Jehmlich organ of the Kreuzkirche in Dreden, demonstrates the whole variety of fusion and dialogue, of soloist counterpart and fusing overall sound.
