OUR Recordings presents Olivier Messiaen release, the rare performed Vingts Regards sur l´enfant-Jésus, of many considered to be the most important solo piano piece in the 20th century.
The young Danish pianist Kristoffer Hyldig have worked intensively with this work for more than 20 years,- and he made it his “signature” solo piece,- playing it many times in the full lengths, including live in DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen. Actually, it is the first time a Danish pianist recorded Vingts Regards.
