Work on the VIVALDI edition continues tirelessly, and now Episode 67 is released.Boris Begelman, concertmaster of the Concerto Italiano, often takes on the role of soloist in the many concerts that Rinaldo Alessandrini's ensemble devotes to the music of Vivaldi and his contemporaries. So it is time to put Begelman at the center of one of the solo violin recordings in the Vivaldi Edition.

In this ninth album of violin concertos within the edition, we hear Concerto Italiano, an orchestra that has already participated in thirteen recordings of the collection. They excel in this purely instrumental repertoire as well as in vocal music, employing generously sweeping melodic lines, inspired dynamics, and a musical language that is already perfectly mastered yet always being rediscovered.

Boris Begelman interprets the Allegros full of wit, makes the imagination shine and captivates with his flexible and sensitive melodic grace.
