For years the chamber choir Les Cris de Paris has been ending its concerts with encores of a very special kind. Known for his interpretations of contemporary music, he remains "contemporary" here as well, but in a completely different sense. Popsong arrangements by Madonna, Björk, Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears as well as classics by French chansons such as Jacques Brel and Serge Gainsbourg are performed here. The special thing about these arrangements is that all instrumental and percussive effects of the songs are performed exclusively by the singers.
