Norma - the culmination of Vincenzo Bellini's work and the epitome of Italian bel canto. The production was recorded in High Definition at the Sferisterio Opera Festival of Macerata in August 2007. In the title role we hear and see the famous Greek soprano Dimitria Theodossiou, currently unquestionably one of the best interpreters of this role. For her outstanding interpretations of Verdi operas, she was named best soprano of the Verdi year in 2002; and in 2003 she was awarded the "Premio Città di Mondovì" as best soprano.
