The new Syntagma Ensemble CD, conducted by Alexandre Danilevski, presents some of the most refined works of medieval Musica composita by Bardolino da Padova and his contemporaries.
On the programme is the image of sounds and how it changes in the course of a day - from dawn to dusk, permeated by syncretic symbols such as the rose (pink) and the nettle (orticha), which were understood as allegories for good and its opposite, but also as a universe balanced in itself Medieval music from Trecento Works by Bardolino da Padova and his contemporaries Vocal and instrumental works.
