The documentary film "Rhythm is it" accompanies a project of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Simon Rattle and the English choreographer Royston Maldoom. They are planning the performance of Igor Stravinsky's ballet Le sacre du printemps (Święto Wiosny) with 250 Berlin students, many of them from so-called "problem schools". During the weeks of rehearsals, some of them will be intensively accompanied. Something wonderful is revealed: these pupils, who at the beginning are probably not trusted very much because they are often unfocused, often distracted or constantly talking, are going through a change: From supposed failures to real winners! In the end, they all come up with a furious final. What school sometimes cannot teach everyone - e.g. diligence, discipline, attention - such projects can perhaps achieve. It's a pity that there are no more of them..
