(Rachel Podger) • Born in England, Rachel Podger attended a Rudolf Steiner School in Germany before returning to her home country to study. She has been able to deepen her growing interest in historical performance practice with various London ensembles, including the New London Consort, the Gabrieli Consort, Florilegium (of which she is a founding member) and London Baroque. Today she belongs to the generally recognized elite of young baroque violinists.
