This album explores the music of the Hungarian composer Ferenc Farkas. One of the works featured here is a long-lost Sonata for solo Cello, composed in 1932 but discovered and first performed in 2014. Miklos Perenyi is one of the most brilliant and distinguished cellists. Born into a musical family, he always excelled. Perenyi has appeared in the world's major musical centres, performing regularly around Europe, in China and the U.S.
