This is a re-issue of one of Dynamic's bestselling titles. It is a pity that Jacques Offenbach’s masterpiece La Grande-Duchesse de Gérosltein is not staged more often, but that gap in the repertory is more than amply filled here by conductor Emmanuel Villaume and his excellent cast of singers, the absolute star of which is Lucia Valentini-Terrani.
