Since its foundation, Duo Teres has focused on playing mainly original works for its rare instrumentation of violin and guitar. This inevitably led to a turn towards music of the 20th and 21st centuries. Since 2011, the two have been working on the project "Prague Kaleidoscope", which brings together compositions from classical music and jazz.
Increasingly, renowned composers are showing interest in writing directly for the duo. The duo, in turn, cooperates closely with Czech radio in order to publicize the outstanding quality of Czech music. From the very beginning (2007), the duo has seen its interpretative qualities repeatedly confirmed by awards at international chamber music competitions.
