Seventy-year-old French guitar veteran Gérard Marais was never particularly productive as a recording artist, but the work, that he entrusted to the microphone were always on the highest level. His companions for decades are hiring "Who Is Who" of the European jazz scene: Renaud Garcia- Fons, Henri Texier, Michel Godard, Vincent Courtois, Louis Sclavis, Aldo Romano, Michel Portal etc. On his new album now form Bass legend Texier and drum titan Christophe Marguet the powerful rhythm section, on the basis of which Marais and Pianist Jérémie Ternoy (member of the band Magma, but always also connected to jazz) can move freely at will.
