Many of the songs pay direct homage to 20th century writers: "The King of Harlem" for Federico García Lorca, "Blue Camus" for Albert Camus' "The Stranger," and "A Is for Alligator" for George Orwell's "Animal Farm." And the new album also portrays two musical families: Billy and Ricky Peterson are brothers, Ben and Leo Sidran father and son.
