With this publication of six central Works of Erwin Schulhoff a silence is broken, that half a century ago the National Socialist Propaganda, and that until the western music world has not yet mastered ...has. Born in Prague in 1894 Schulhoff in the course of his short life with all of the Avant-garde currents, including in particular the dadaism and Jazz, before he was born in 1942 in the Fortress Wülzburg - as Jew and Communist interned - deceased. Only the bass nightingale for contrabassoon solo is the Possession of this CD already worth. Schulhoff's Dadaist Phase brought several wonderfully absurd compositions from the ground.
