To coincide with the 100th anniversary of his birth in May 2024 Lyritais releasing a CD containing five premiere recordings, performed by soloists from the London Mozart Players.

Listeners will discover in all these works a neo-classical style that is direct, energetic, stretching the boundaries of tonality, but not breaking them; a language that is familiar (Françaix and Shostakovich come to mind), engaging, playful, and immediately graspable. The writing requires players that are skilled, but never makes unattainable demands.
