This 17-CD set presents the complete works by Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849): the piano solo works, the works for piano & orchestra, chamber music and songs.

This Edition, based on the previously released Edition of 2015, contains some marked changes: the Etudes are played by Zlata Chochieva, a recording for which she received a Gramophone Editor’s Choice and featured in the “50 best Chopin Recordings of All Time”. The works for piano and orchestra are brand new and played by the brilliant Ekaterina Litvintseva (“a notable moment in the history of Chopin interpretation” (Fanfare). The Nocturnes are played by Claire Huangci. Unchanged in the Edition are the stunning performances of the Ballades, Impromptus and Preludes by Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy (“fusion of impassioned ardor and classical textual rigor”, Jed Distler on Classicstoday.com).
