Viktor Ullman's chamber opera "The Emperor of Atlantis" in an exemplary interpretation – a recording of the concert performance of October 10, 2021 at the Prinzregententheater in Munich.
Primarily young performers sing alongside internationally renowned Austrian Kammersänger Adrian Eröd in the title role.
Performed by the Munich Radio Orchestra under Patrick Hahn, making his debut here as the orchestra’s principal guest conductor – and with his first CD on BR-KLASSIK.
The 26-year-old Austrian Patrick Hahn, engaged in Wuppertal since 2021, is the youngest General Music Director in the German-speaking countries, and has been principal guest conductor of the MRO since the start of the current season.
