This album marks Canadian Stewart Goodyear's Steinway & Sons debut as well as the label's first orchestral release.
Mr. Goodyear is a notable concert soloist and has performed with, among others, the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
In 2013, he gave a series of marathon performances in the US of the complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas performing the complete cycle in a single, eleven-hour performance at each venue.
