These are glorious performances of last 4 Mozart string quartets. As a previous reviewer mentioned the quality of the recording is phenomenal. But performances are also pretty amazing. Tempi are bit faster than on most other recordings but never feel rushed. Festetics play with great coherence and technique, and all instruments have a beautiful tone. I have several other recordings of some or all of these works, including Berg, Mosaique, Solomon, Italiano, and Chiligrian (spelling?), but this one is the one I listen the most. I don't understand why these are not better known. Don't hesitate.
