These suites give the cellist great musical freedom, so one can play them all one's life and discover new elements each time" Tatjana Vassiljeva's Bach does not want pathos or melancholy: "...for me the music of Bach is not sad. The rhythmic energy of his music is sustaining, especially in the dances. It even takes some physical strength to connect the suites."
