The third installment in the Wort-Klang series: The German author and artist Root Leeb and the Chinese-born musician Xu Fengxia lead us into the adventurous world of strong women with wondrous stories and fantastic music. They tell of women who are strong, who believe they are strong or who want to be strong. Root Leeb tells stories which, in their exaggeration and conciseness, are reminiscent of precious miniatures. There are profound texts with surprising turns of phrase, sometimes bizarre with a nice touch of self-irony. Xu Fengxia plays with Guzheng (zither) and Sanxian (lute). Sometimes she accentuates the words in a poetic, thoughtful way, at other times she kindles a sound fire.
