If we are to find something in the Goldberg Variations (wariacje goldbergowskie) beyond the beauty of the music, we must look at the structure, proportions and numerology of the work. It begins with an Aria of 32 bars, followed by 30 variations. After the last variation it says: "Aria da Capo è Fine", which means recapitulation of the aria and the end. Diego Ares, for whom this work - one of the most remarkable in the history of music - was a lifelong inspiration, decodes it for himself with the notion of travel: in the course of the variations he goes to the most diverse environments, has new experiences, and returns home happy with the last variation, the Quodlibet.
