As the founder of the French cello tradition, André Navarra (1911-1987) is still one of the most important protagonists of all time. In the years 1953-1966 he recorded five records for the SUPRAPHON label, which are now available for the first time on CD in a box at an attractive price. Navarre plays works by Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann and others. A true piece of music history!
